If the 'Exclude from emails' option is checked, would it affect the notifications received from the discussion subscribed button?

The "exclude from emails" option would exclude the discussion notifications indeed so users will not receive them if they are excluded from emails.
The only emails that are not affected by the "exclude from emails" are the emails related to self-signing up and resetting a password.
